The Angels, volunteers at the heart of the event
Throughout the FISU 2026 World University Handball Championship, the Angels volunteers will be there to welcome, assist, and support delegations from all over the world. Upon their arrival in Bordeaux, whether at Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport or Saint-Jean train station, the Angels will guide participants to the Championship Village and help them settle in.
Team and official travel will be organized through the TBM public transport network (Bordeaux Métropole) and complemented by a system of dedicated shuttles. These will handle luggage and ensure smooth transfer for arrivals very early in the morning or late at night, providing comfort and efficiency from the very first moments on site.
Always present and attentive, the Angels will help create a welcoming and professional atmosphere, showcasing Bordeaux’s hospitality in the service of a truly international event.
